Who is Mother Mary?
Mary was a Galilean Jewish woman of Nazareth. She was known as Saint Mary, Our Lady, and Mother of Jesus. Mother Mary was the daughter of Saint Ann and the mother of Jesus. She was betrothed to Joseph.
Christians believe that she conceived her son while a virgin by the Holy Spirit before a possible concluding rite of marriage, the formal home-taking ceremony. Early Christianity (Roman) considered her the most meritorious saint of all religions.
